Ziad Rawashdeh
Attorney Ziad Rawashdeh is the founder of the firm. He works tirelessly to bring justice for injured individuals and their families, regardless of the type of injury and damage they suffered, either physical injury at work, other type of accidents, unpaid wages and overtime, or harassment and discrimination at workplace. Mr. Rawashdeh has personally recovered millions of dollars in settlements, verdicts and awards for the firms injured and damaged clients in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino County, as well as throughout California. Mr. Rawashdeh has successfully handled cases involving industrial accidents, workplace injuries, construction site accidents, orthopedic and brain injuries, amputations, wrongful death claims, unpaid wages and overtime, harassment and discrimination, and more.
Mr. Rawashdeh in addition of being a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, and California Applicant Attorneys Association. In addition he is admitted to practice before all California State and Federal Courts, he also has an MBA degree and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Charles R. Rondeau
Charles Rondeau has been practicing law for more than 23 years. For the last 16 of them, his practice has been concentrated in workers’ compensation related litigation. Mr. Rondeau has represented injured workers and medical providers before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. In recent years, he has also represented employers in civil litigation against workers’ compensation insurance carriers. Mr. Rondeau has also successfully tried numerous civil and criminal cases to verdict.
Mr. Rondeau is a graduate of Columbia College and of Southwestern University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in California, New York and New Jersey, and is licensed to appear before the United State Supreme Court, several federal circuit Courts of Appeal and numerous federal District Courts.
Mr. Rondeau is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Law Commission of the State Bar of California and is a proud member of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (“CAAA”), the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (“CAALA”) and the California Employment Lawyers Association (“CELA”). Mr. Rondeau has the honor and privilege of arguing some of the most important recent workers’ compensation cases before the California Supreme Court, includingValdez v. Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board in 2013 and in State Compensation Insurance Fund v. Workers’ Compensation Insurance Fund (Sandhagen) in 2008. Mr. Rondeau has also had the honor and privilege of arguing before several District Courts of Appeal and has several published appellate decisions.
Mr. Rondeau is fluent is Spanish and French and also speaks several other foreign languages.
Zahra Khoury
Ms. Khoury handles the Labor and Employment civil litigation cases at the firm. Ms. Khoury is a value-driven Litigation Attorney with broad-based experience in civil labor and employment litigation, in State and Federal Courts from pleading to trial and/or arbitration. Ms. Khoury represents employees in wrongful termination cases, workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, including discrimination based on pregnancy, race, national origin, religion, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, military and veteran status; Ms. Khoury handles wage and hour violations in State and Federal courts.
Ms. Khoury received her Bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio (Magna Cum Laude) and her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Antioch University. She received her Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California (Magna Cum Laude) graduating third of her class as a Salutatorian. Ms. Khoury was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2004. She is admitted in all courts of the State of California and in the United States District Court for the Central District and in the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Khoury is also a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association. While in law school, Ms. Khoury, an international human rights activist, was appointed Lieutenant Governor of Public Interest by the American Bar Association/Law Student Division (ABA/LSD). She received a Certificate of Appreciation by the ABA/LSD for her dedication to public service and volunteer work in the community. Ms. Khoury has received many honors and has published decisions.
Ms. Khoury joined RAWA LAW GROUP in 2015. She fights for her clients with passion and integrity.
Geiv Geranmayeh
Geiv Geranmayeh is a Hearing Representative who has been helping the injured worker for more than 11 years. He started in September of 2007 and has made many appearances before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board on behalf of Applicant’s over the years. His 7 years as a personal trainer, prior to working in Workers’ Compensation, give him a unique perspective and understanding of the effects injuries have on an individual’s body. Mr. Geranmayeh is proficient in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation law, including rights to compensation, pertinent case law, rights to medical treatment, validity of medical reporting and the rating of permanent disability. He continues to fight for the injured worker’s rights and to make sure that the injured worker is compensated justly and adequately.
Hank Fernandez
Hank Fernandez has been working in the field of workers’ compensation for over 30 years. Mr. Fernandez has experience in both sides of the workers’ compensation. He started his workers’ compensation career as an adjuster with State Compensation Insurance Fund and also worked as an adjuster for Kemper Insurance and GAB Business Services. However the majority of his experience is helping injured workers work through the workers’ compensation system.
Mr Fernandez joined Rawa Law Group, early 2015 and he is in charge of evaluating and rating medical reports.
Melissa Knowlton
Melissa Knowlton is an ABA approved Paralegal, with 10+ years of experience in the field of Workers’ Compensation. She prides herself in her proven history of building and maintaining strong professional relationships with the injured workers she has helped throughout her career. Ms. Knowlton joined Rawa Law Group a little over 3 years ago. Through much hard work and determination, she quickly advanced to her current position as Operations Manager of the firm. Melissa is a very passionate person, that truly loves what she does. She is compassionate, and understanding of the needs and rights of injured workers, and is highly dedicated to working side by side with her clients, to ensure the best possible care, treatment, and recovery from their work related injuries.
Lena Rawashdeh
Lena Rawashdeh has a Juris Doctor. She is human resources and quality control manager. Her duties involve investigating and handling client’s complaint. Her utmost goal is to bring the client’s satisfaction to the highest level. Mrs. Rawashdeh understands the injured worker’s needs and makes sure that all the clients concerns are addressed to their satisfaction.
Belen Perossio
Belen Perossio is the social media marketing specialist. She is in charge of promoting the firm. Her duties are to build and execute social media strategy that build meaningful connections and a strong community between the firm staff members and its clients.
Along with being the social media marketing specialist, she is also a case intake specialist. Perossio joined Rawa Law Group beginning of 2015. Her duties involve meeting up with potential clients and obtaining all the information necessary to pursue a Workers’ Compensation claim. Belen is very passionate about her job and loves helping others. Her number one priority is to make the whole process as smooth as possibly.
Leticia Bamboyani
Leticia Bamboyani is a Certified Paralegal, as well as a Certified Notary Public with 4+ years of experience in the field of Workers’ Compensation. She prides herself in her proven history of building and maintaining strong professional relationships with the injured workers she has helped throughout her career. Ms. Bamboyani joined Rawa Law Group a little over 2 years ago. Leticia is a very passionate person, that truly loves what she does.
