z2Mr. Dearth is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa, College of Law, in 1983. He practiced Oil and Gas Law for a number of years representing oil companies at hearings before the Oklahoma Oil and Gas Commission. He was General Counsel for an Oklahoma Property Casualty Insurer. He was an associate attorney with the Wyatt Austin firm in Ada, Oklahoma, one of Oklahoma’s most respected workers’ compensation and civil litigation firms, managing the firm’s civil litigation department, including handling a number of appeals to the Oklahoma Appellate Courts.

Mr. Dearth became a member of the California Bar in 1996. He was an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Raymond Novell responsible for the handling and trial of civil and workers’ compensation cases. For many years, Mr. Dearth owned and managed his own law practice which primarily involved representing injured workers in their workers’ compensation claims, including the filing of 132(a) and Serious and Willful Applications.

Mr. Dearth is a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before the United States Eastern District of Oklahoma.

Mr. Dearth joined the Rawa Law Group in 2015. His primary responsibilities involve representing injured workers in their workers’ compensation claims before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
